My Kemmerling Roots starting with my MotherAnna Adolfine Kemmerling:
My mother was born in 1924 in Dusseldorf, Germany at Goeben Strasse No.11....
Some pictures of her growing up to be the beautiful youg woman she was.
Then came the war, a terrible time of seperation and heartache, my mother became part of the "Land Armee", my grandfather a soldier and for part of the 1939 - 45 conflict my grandmother was evacuated to Eastern Germany.
In 1945, the war over my father is part of the Occupation force in Dusseldorf, he and my mother meet...

But this site is not just about my mother, she is at the end (together with her sister Rose Marie) of a long line of Kemmerlings. And though we have scant information at this time of the earlier generations we make a start below.
