Pictures of the Chapel front & some graves stones

Seion Methodist Chapel was first built in 1845 and rebuilt in 1870
and stands east of Morriston Cross close by the old canal
I saw graves there dating back to 1845 or so and latest graves were from 1998/9.

		Albert Huzzey born:1844. Died Nov 4th 1902. Elizabeth Huzzey born I think 1847. Died Feb 14th 1920. ??? Huzzey (son) a signaller in the 2/4 Oxford & Bucks Light Infantry Who was killed at Laventie on June 29th 1916 and buried in Bethune Cemetary Northern France aged 21 years.
Richard Gray Died: August 11th 1868 aged 24 yrs. Also Ann Gray & William Gray: Details later as have to translate.
		Ann Thomas b. 1845. Died Oct. 8th 1858 aged 13 yrs. Daughter of John & Hannah Thomas (of this parish) Also: Hannah wife of William Davies of Morriston & Mother of the above named Ann Thomas who died May 11th 1871 aged 49 years. (Where is John Thomas?)
Blodwen Benjamin b. August 25th 1890. Died: Oct 15th 1892. Daghter of: William & Maria Benjamin (of this place) Also: Maria Benjamin (above) died: Nov 1st 1938 aged 74 yrs. Also: William Benjamin (above) died: May 12th 1940 aged 78 yrs. Also: Daughter Kate Fischer widow of Arthur Fischer of Fforestfach. and mother of Bill. Born Sept 11th 1894. Died: July 3rd 1988. Also: William Harry "Bill" Fischer b. Feb 22nd 1924 died: June 9th 2000.
		Catherine Philips Died Dec. 18th 1893. Aged 12 yrs. Daughter of John and Sarah Philips of Clundu, Morriston. Also: Harriet Philips Daughter of the above named who Died July 25th 1894 Aged 23 yrs.
David Jones Died "Medi" 14th 1894 Aged 54 yrs. Also Catherine Jones His wife who died: May 28th 1908 Aged: 65 yrs. Also: Hannah Wife of Rees Jones who Died: May 20th 1938. Aged 60 yrs. And: Rees Jones who Died "Hydref" 6th 1942 Aged: 77 yrs.
		George John: Died February 1st 1899. Aged 42 yrs. Also: Catherine Jones Died: 1917 Aged 63 yrs.
